BADA

Redevelopment : CREDAI GWALIOR suggest 3 area for redevelopment 1.BADA 2.Mela Ground 3.SAF Ground For ecological balance Greenery should be improved in central city Lashkar Area, no. of parks near bada and other area should increase. at present Bada is a main activity area for commercial, retailing and even wholesale trade. No other area is developed as business district in our city Land of Gwalior Mela can be developed as a CBD ( Central Business District) it has around 40 acre plus land and a very modern futuristic development can be created in Mela and for Heritage Mela we propose new Mela can be developed on 100 acre land, in outer periphery nearby city like i.e. SADA. Land of SAF can be used for affordable housing, recreation area, and green area. Because now SAF area comes in middle of city and SAF can be shifted to outer periphery of the city like Tighra.

Green field activity: CREDAI suggested that SADA is the best suitable place for this purpose. There is a huge need of better connectivity with the present city If Better connectivity by road can be developed SADA can developed as a modern city for 2 to 5 lac people habitation. A flyover can be constructed from Laxmiganj Choraha via Gupteshwar to SADA Proposed western bypass is also a path changer for SADA. SADA

CREDAI proposes STP of MLD should be constucted everywhere in the city Propose STP can be 10 or more than that, we can use treated water for the purpose of greenery. All street lights should be illuminated by solar energy and this project can be develop under PPP Mode. PAN CITY

A committee of professionals, architects and senior officers can be developed for allowing hoardings, maintain of old heritage building façade, to maintain Stone work on facades in old roads. Dafrin Saray should be as a recreational area, the habitation of Nigam employees should be shifted to new EWS and LIG Housing. Old stand alone monuments like arch gate at SKV school, old Makbare and Mandir near Sagar tal various Bawdis like, Chetakpuri Bawdi, Sharda Vihar Bawdi, Janak Tal should be restored. PAN CITY
