Motivation (2/2) However, blood pump is the most important device to patient. Therefore, we should meet the scientific and reasonable standards So we develop the experimental test device for checking compatibility of future blood pumps
Goal Setting (1/2) Set main standards by referring to “Guideline for Evaluation” from ‘FDA koread’ and set other standards for compatibility To Get reliability of our device, we test existing pumps and compare results between data and proposed performance by company
Goal Setting (2/2) We should consider many factors but especially we focus on pump’s performance Therefore we choose 3 factors, RPM, Flow rate, Pressure FLOW PRESSURE RPM
FR/DP/Constraints Pressure ~ 1000 [mmHg] → 2000 [mmHg] Flow rate ~ 10 [L/min] → 15 [L/min] Cost, Size, Accuracy etc.
