6LoWPAN is an adaptation layer defining the encapsulation and the header compression mechanisms to enable IPv6 packets transfer over networks implementing the IEEE standard. By this way, Watteco has implemented the 6LoWPAN stack in several IEEE RF transceiver to offer a complete IPv6-based RF low power transceiver
