Learning Intention You will understand the course outline and have an idea of what topics we will be covering this year. You will start to think about your own well-being.

Achievement Standards This year we will be covering 4 Achievement Standards, offering a total of 20 credits:

3.3 Explain a range of health practices currently used in New Zealand 5 credits Internally assessed Term 1 Topic – Cancer Individual research

3.1 Analyse a health issue for a particular group within New Zealand society 5 credits Internally assessed Term 2 Topic – A drug type

3.2 Analyse an international health issue 5 credits Externally assessed Term 1/2 Topic – HIV / AIDS Written examination
