We are learning about how we change as we grow older. Growing up We are learning about how we change as we grow older. child baby mum or dad adult teenager grandma or grandad husband or wife toddler

What does a baby need help to do? n. A very young child. What can a baby do? What does a baby need help to do?

Toddler n. A child who is just learning to walk. A toddler is beginning to learn to walk. What other things are toddlers learning to do? Toddlers start to be more independent of their parents. What does this mean?

As children get older what do they get better at doing? n. A young human being below the age of puberty. All children in the UK have to go to school. What age do children start school? As children get older what do they get better at doing? Think about the things you can do that you couldn’t do in Reception. What things can the older children do better than you? What happens to children’s bodies as they get older?

How does your body start to change when you become a teenager? n. A person from thirteen to nineteen years of age. How does your body start to change when you become a teenager? What age can teenagers leave school?

What jobs do the adults in your family do? adj. mature, grown up n. an adult person When a person becomes an adult they usually start work. Why do adults need to have a job? What jobs do the adults in your family do? What job might you like to do when you grow up?
