Status of Respiratory Care at AUB-MC  1996: 6 staff (RNs and Techs)  2013: 36 staff (RNs, RTs, and Techs)  Training: OJT  Comprehensive range of RC services (Invasive MV, NIV, NO, Heliox, ABG lab, Codes, Transport, Research, education, etc)

 Almost all academic and non-academic health care facilities have recognized the importance of such profession  The political instability and agendas have prevented to-date the creation of an organized RC programs and a national society  A file is being prepared and will be submitted for the establishment of the LSRC Status of Respiratory Care in Lebanon
