Structural Engineering By: Chris Welcome

What do they do? Decides what structural system is the best for a building, or any other standing object that requires support. May help with the destruction of a structure or with the repair of it. Also inspect buildings during construction and completion and oversees the uses of the concrete, steel and timber from which they are made

Education A structural Engineer needs all of the technical knowledge that would come from school. These are hard skills. They also need soft skills. Such as communication, problem solving, sales ability, time management, and public speaking.

Anything that needs help to stand requires a Structural Engineers knowledge to make it stand.
