1 Choice Preferences Pre-K – Grade 5 1. Neighborhood (Walking distance within one-half mile) 2. Sibling 3. Zone 4. City Wide - Random Selection Grades Neighborhood (Walking distance within one mile) 2. Sibling 3. Zone (Zone 2 has zone preference at all high schools until a new high school is opened in 2011) 4. City wide - Random Selection

2 Transportation Options Grades K – 5Grades 6 – 8Grades Students who live less than one half mile will walk. Students who live less than one mile will walk. Student who live one half mile or more will be bused. Students who live one mile or more will be bused. Students who attend a school outside of their zone will not be provided with transportation. Parents will be responsible for providing transportation. * With the exception of students attending designated city-wide schools.
