In the comment for both photos, group members will quote the lines accurately and include the MLA style parenthetical documentation. The group members will be the “characters” in the photos and the tableau created must be true to the stage directions.

Requirement #2: CONNECT THE CONCEPT FROM THE PLAY TO YOUR WORLD/LIFE: The next three photos will portray the concept as it is demonstrated in the real world. In the comments for these photos, students must articulate how the concept is connected to the play AND to contemporary society.

Guidelines Each group must have at least one student with a smart phone, ipad, or camera. If a group doesn’t have access to a device, the teacher will arrange for that group to use a spare camera, Apple or Android device. Class Instagram Account: In the event that a student is not permitted by parent or guardian to have an Instagram account or if the student doesn’t want to sign up for one, I created a class account for the class to use. Students need to be prepared with photos and captions in order to be logged on to Instagram in class at least one day prior to the presentations. Each group member must be responsible for the planning/staging/arrangement/comment of at least 1 photo in the collection that is submitted.

After following the class Instagram, they will be followed in return. ***Remember, anything they have or will post to Instagram will show in the feed and will be seen by students in classes on the Smartboard during presentations. With teenagers, this can be a little dangerous, so be sure to remind them of this fact. It is okay if they choose to use the class account as long as they remember to add their group names to each picture for grading purposes.
