Mr. Bernstein

MAIN TOPICS OF STUDY  Review of Precalculus  Limits  Derivatives  Integrals  All of the topics will be examined graphically, numerically, analytically, and verbally.

EXPECTATIONS  Homework will be given often. All assignments will be posted both on Google classroom and my website.  Test will be administered as necessary. Some tests will be in class and some will be take home.  There will be essays and projects. These are used to reinforce topics covered in class  We have a class set of textbooks, so every student should have a textbook at home.

GRADING SYSTEM  All work is due on the assigned day. If a student is out of school, have them take pictures of the work and it to me at If work is one day late, the grade will be reduced by 20%. No work will be accepted after that and the grade will be a  The rubric for this class is that 85% of the grade will be based on test/quiz/essay/project., 15% on classwork and homework. The second and fourth marking period will include a midterm and final, which will be counted for 20% of that marking period grade.

RESOURCES If students need help, they may come in the morning and some days after school. I am here by 7:00 AM. I will not always answer the exact questions that are due, but I will provide guidance to help them discover the answer on their own. A late bus is available Monday through Thursday at 3:30, provided that it is not a teacher workshop afternoon. Two of the better youtube review sites are Patrickjmt and Mathbff.
