Bobby Order PIONIER OF HIS OWN SPACE

Bobby Order, an ordinary boy in an ordinary city. Based on five true stories. From his place of birth Ginneken, Breda he starts a journey he’ll never forget.

Right after his birth, he starts exploring his capacities. He starts searching his limits Through his life, he’ll find, experience and reconstruct his limits This is the story of Bobby Order

0-2 years Bobby lives in a middle class house in a middle class street

0-2 years 1988: In his first months he sees nothing but his bedroom

0-2 years From the lap of his mother he explores the house

0-2 years After two years the complete house, except for the basement, is familiar ground

0-2 years And he spends more and more time with his family in the living room

Bobby has finished his first phase of his life His curiosity is rewarded when his mother subscribes him for kindergarten

2-4 years Bobby lives in the south of Breda, where children play safely on the streets

2-4 years Every day his mother walks him to kindergarten and Bobby discovers a world outside his house

4-7 years After a couple of years he is attending primary school He plays regularly at Gerard Rens’ and Donald McNeil’s.

In his primary school period, Bobby meets new friends and unveiles new parts of Breda to his mind.

7-12 years He´s starting to know the surrounding area of his house

7-12 years He often goes to his friend´s house in a nearby neighborhood

7-12 years The longer he participates at school, the more friends from other parts of the city he gets

At the age of twelve Bobby leaves primary school to go to high school in Breda city A new time, new friends, new journeys and new spaces to experience…

12-16 years He goes to a different high school than his friends from primary school

12-16 years He explores the area of his high school during lunch breaks and with his friends he visits the city park and shopping district

12-16 years After a while he´s making friends at high school and visits them at their homes

Bobby has reached the age of sixteen and is experiencing more and more of the adult life He starts ‘space’-ing in the park

16-18 years Most parts of Breda he now knows as the back of his hand. He is curious about other places

16-18 years With his high school friends he makes his first trip without his parents: a holiday to Renesse. He also visits his cousin in Tilburg regularly on his own

Bobby has now reached legal drinking age And he wants to make use of it So he books a trip with his friends to Salou in an unimaginably uncomfortable bus

18-20 years Salou will be Bobby’s first international trip. He is very proud of it.

18-20 years After a ridicoulisly long bustrip Bobby arrives in the party heaven of Salou. He and his friends spend their time drinking, swimming and partying

Bobby has finished high school It’s time for serious business He subcribes for law school and starts a new phase in life

20-25 years During this University period Bobby makes quite a few trips, for example to Munich with an exchange program and to Brussels with his favourite teachers

20-25 years The end of his study is approaching. A last internship in New Zealand will be the closure for his educative years.

First, Bobby finds a consultancy job at the Amsterdam Borders bookstore But as the years go by he slowly advances in his career By the age of 45 he is a big shot at ‘Fransisco Rontera Lawyers’ and he’s travelling much through South America

25 years and on The whole world is at his feet

Bobby’s last milestone is a world trip with his French wife Francoise Rontier At this point he reaches saturation He cannot extend his limits anymore His ultimate borders are finally reached

Well, that’s the story of Bobby Order: The world bordered him, the world changed him, he changed the world, he bordered the world He started with a view of the inside of his bed He ended with a view and insight of the whole world…

THE END
