How to develop the wellbeing of the personnel and to enhance the gender equality? The survey tool facilitates the preparing of the equality plan The equality survey is part of phase 4 in equality planning: the guidelines for preparing the plan are available online: arvo-ohjeet

The purpose of the survey tool The purpose is to facilitate the preparing of the mandatory equality plan in workplaces The tool can be used free of charge. The tool is meant for workplaces in both the private and public sectors.

The themes of the survey Working atmosphere and management Coping with workload and working overtime Balancing work and family life Training opportunities Harassment and workplace bullying, discrimination

The survey tool in practice one person in the workplace orders the survey and the codes and distributes them to the personnel. The personnel fills in the questionnaire online, anonymously with the same code. the workplace gets the reports on the survey findings by gender a sector-based comparison report is printed when the number of the respondents is sufficient the survey can also be repeated, which makes it possible to follow the development of the equality situation

Three points in the survey administrator: orders the survey administrator: carries out the registration, gives the background data, and selects the desired way of reporting. The administrator gets the code for the workplace and the password to be given to the personnel employee: fills in the questionnaire

Please pay attention to the following It takes about minutes to fill in the questionnaire. Give the personnel instructions on filling in the questionnaire. Particularly give guidance on the personnel group in the background data. Encourage the personnel to respond: tell what this is about, how the results will be used, and how the personnel will be informed of the findings.
