Starter  List reasons why it is important for any business to produce products efficiently.

Production at Unilever: Key issues.  What is mass/flow production?  Why can larger businesses like Unilever produce items more cheaply?  What are the advantages of using batch production methods?  How can businesses gain from automation?

Mass production  Means producing large volumes of an identical, standardised product, continuously on a production line.  You can only mass produce something if there is a mass market for it!  Mass production video.
