Reconstruction Newspaper Article Assignment Pretend you are a reporter during Reconstruction. Write a newspaper article on any of the events or people that we are going to learn about in this unit. Make sure to answer the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY or HOW in your article. Follow the newspaper format covered in class. Must be typed but it can be written in pen (blue or black). Must have an image (drawn, cut and paste, or printed.) Rough draft in your notebook. Final draft is due March 17/18, 2014.

Grading Criteria: Grade 4 Reconstruction Newspaper Article Content: Thorough, factual, and vividly written; answers five journalistic questions: Who, Where, What, When, How/Why.
