Presentation transcript:

About Me I love my wife. I love my kids. I love my family. I love Taiwan. I love teaching.

I have a smartboard in my house. I have used it for about six months.

I am learning to use it. I am not an EXPERT. I am a USER.

My electronic whiteboard is very useful. I love it!

Why?

Students love it! It’s interesting. It’s fun. Students can learn faster. Students can learn more.

Teachers love it! Happy students = happy teachers It makes planning a lesson easier. Teachers can share resources. Lots of resouces available on the internet.

Is it easy to use?

If you have any questions, your students can answer most of them. It’s easy to use.

How does it work?

Simply: 1. The electronic whiteboard becomes your monitor. 2. Your hand becomes the mouse and keyboard.

Just think about how easy it would be if you didn’t need to use your mouse or keyboard. You simply touched your monitor. Your computer would be much faster and easier to use.

Benefits The internet can be used in your class. Students don’t need to crowd around one computer. You can use the software that comes with school textbooks. Students can make presentations to the class. They can prepare the PPT or PDF file at home and present it in class. Students can share interesting websites or information with their teacher and classmates. Students can become more involved in the class.

Students can become teachers. Students become more willing to help others. Once created, student work can be used in the future. Students can have more fun while learning.

What do I need to get started? Hardware: Computer and monitor Projector Electronic whiteboard Speakers Webcam Software: Internet access Microsoft PowerPoint Software for school textbooks SKYPE or other similar software
