Processor A computer takes an input, processes it and produces an output. The processor in a computer is known as a CPU An example is: INPUT: User enters a number (10) PROCESS: Multiply it by 5 OUTPUT: Computer displays the answer 50 on the monitor Sometimes the result of a process is stored for later use rather than being OUTPUT. Software programs are also loaded from storage. Other than typing letters and them appearing on the screen, what other INPUT-PROCESS- OUTPUTS can you think of?
