16 Habits!!! How do I get to know them, understand them and apply them??? How often do you choose to behave intelligently? How often do your children behave intelligently? I’ve got 4 reading groups, 3 maths groups, Billy’s mum’s worried that he’s not eating his lunch, the kids need more fitness, Mum’s off to hospital next week, Mary’s got netball practise on Thursday and the game on Tuesday. What are we having for dinner? And there’s still the dog to take for a walk.

Daniel Goleman Emotional Intelligence (1995) p. 83 Successful people think before they act. They make a plan before solving a problem.
TAKING RESPONSIBLE RISKS There has been a calculated risk in every stage of American development--the pioneers who were not afraid of the wilderness, businessmen who were not afraid of failure, dreamers who were not afraid of action. Brooks Atkinson Successful people aren’t afraid of learning new things. They want to have a go even if they might fail.
