G&P -- Stuckart Choosing Roles 4/23/2017 Have class read aloud relevant sections from the “Steps in a Trial” handout Direct examination Cross examination Closing arguments Teacher directs students to discuss Roles (& Alternate Roles) for 5 minutes NOTE: Opening/Closing Attorneys will have some additional responsibilities (they will troubleshoot & monitor others to make sure everyone remains consistent with their Theory of the Case) Teacher records Roles / Alternate Roles
