New Degree Proposal - BA/BS in Hospitality Management Executive Summary: A program that prepares individuals to serve as general managers and directors of hospitality operations on a system- wide basis, including both travel arrangement and promotion and the provision of traveler facilities. Includes instruction in principles of operations in the travel and tourism, hotel and lodging facilities, food services, and recreation facilities industries; hospitality marketing strategies; hospitality planning; management and coordination of franchise and unit operation; business management; accounting and financial management; hospitality transportation and logistics; and hospitality industry policies and regulations.
New Degree Proposal - BA/BS in Hospitality Management The proposed program would be the only 4-year degree program of its kind offered in Oregon and would cater to one of the largest supplier of jobs in the state. This degree would be offered at one of the Northwest’s premiere tourist destinations; Bend.
