Teaching What is prewriting? – Prewriting is the first step in the writing process. Prewriting is a way to collect the information that you are going to use for the topic given. Graphic organizers – used during the prewriting stage to organize your ideas for the topic. What does it means to persuade someone? – Persuading someone means to convince them of your viewpoint. Franklin D. Roosevelt – Good or Bad president? Assessment Activity Now, it’s time to write a persuasive piece on Franklin D. Roosevelt! Convince the reader that Franklin D. Roosevelt was either a good president or bad.
