EXPERIMENTS

SNOWMAN o Instant snow o 40 ml water o Plastic bag Put instant snow into a plastic bag and pour it with water. The powder will absorb all the liquid and turn into artificial snow. You can pour some liquid food colours into the bag so the snow is colourful. Now make a snowman

DIVER o Straw o Rubber band o 4 paper clips First create the diver. Bend the straw in the joint and cut off the rest of the straw according to the shorter part. Tight it with a rubbber band. Undo the 4 paper clips a bit and place it behind the rubber band so the small straw can stand supported by the clips. Put it in the plastic bottle – make sure it is not upside down. and Fill half the bottle with water. If you press the bottle, the diver will go up and down.

CENTRE OF BALLANCE o Small polystyren ball ( diameter 3 or 4 cm) o 2 wooden sticks the same lenght o 1 toothpick o Play-doh Imaple two wooden sticks one by one into the polystyren ball. Make sure they are not pararell. Make two small, same sized balls of play-doh and impale them at the end of the wooden sticks. Finally place a tooth pick into the polystyren ball between the wooden sticks. Now try the ballance of the toy – put it f..e on the top of your finger and it won´t fall down!
