 Identified in 1938  Henry Turner found 7 patients that had dwarfism and lack of sexual development  People between ages of 15 to 23  Found only in females  Can be from either sperm or egg  Life expectancy is decreased by 10 years

 Flat chest, dry eyes, drooping eyelids, flat feet  Low set ears, wide neck, swelling of hands and feet  Diagnosis is from the symtoms  Treatment includes growth hormones and estrogen therapy

 A process called nondisjunction  When a pair of sex chromosomes fail to separate during the formation of the egg
