Our school, the “Liceo scientifico Peano”, is situated in the outskirts of Rome, in a very green area, but not far away from the underground:

The school was built near other schools: the “Istituto Agrario”, which is a school for agriculture and whose fields surround our building (even though we are inside the city, you can often hear cows and tractors moving around!); then there is the “Istituto Aeronautico”, which is a school for aeroplane pilots (you can see an aeroplane in their yard!):

The are many different branches in the school: the “linguistico” (foreign languages), the “scientifico” (scientifical studies) and the “scienze applicate” (technical and computer studies). We have many labs for all these different subjects: This is the language lab: Another special room:

But the most important moment is when the bell rings for the BREAK: then everybody runs in the corridor… …then down the stairs …to reach our wonderful BAR!

Our class is part of the “language” branch, and our school offers a lot of opportunities to us: special language courses in English, Spanish, French and German; we can take part in class exchanges (this year our school has other three exchanges with Netherlands, Estonia and Greece); some of us also take part in a special UN simulation in New York City. Besides, we also have other opportunities, like a recording studio where we can play music, or we can even paint our walls with graffiti!
