A PowerPoint Presentation By: Narwhal Unicorn of the sea A PowerPoint Presentation By: Hannah S. (18) and Audrey F.

What They Are They are the horned arctic whale. Their Horns are 8-15 ft. Their bodies are 15-22 ft. not including the horn. ENDANGERED!!

Why Are They Endangered? They are ENDANGERED!!!!!!! because they are overly hunted for food and for their tusks. Sometimes their tusks are auctioned for thousands of dollars.

Weird actual facts In Old Norse Narwhal means “Corpse Whale”. They are also known as “Unicorn of the sea”. They are also very mythical creatures.

What Narwhals Eat They eat tuna, shrimp, and crab. They also eat cuddle fish, halibut, artic cod, rockfish, and flounder.

Where They Live/Habitat Narwhals live in the arctic waters around Greenland, Russia, Alaska, and Canada.

Other Information About The Narwhal Its closest living relative is the beluga. The tusk is not right in the middle of its nose, it is actually to the left of the nose. Some Narwhals can live to be 30 or 40.

Our Opinion We think that Narwhals are very special creatures. They should be treated with care and preserved. It should be a law that they can’t be hunted. They are sweet and if they are cared for they might not be ENDANGERED anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
