I wonder what you heard in the Gospel today? I wonder what Jesus meant about the least important person becoming the greatest? I wonder how we can be servants to all?

The response is sung, Lord hear our prayer. We pray for the poor and the homeless; may our loving care and concern enrich their lives. Lord, in your mercy… We pray for people who believe that money alone can bring happiness; may they discover the treasure of God’s love. Lord, in your mercy… We pray for forgiveness, generosity and truth in our world; may our lives store up treasure in heaven instead of on earth. Lord, in your mercy…

Loving Father, sometimes I find it hard not to have things my own way! To be expected to share and to put others first. Help me to be generous and thoughtful as you would want me to be.Amen.

We are going to sing our hymn now. During the hymn could one person from each class come and choose a gesture from the focal point.
