The Common Core State Standards were developed to prepare students with essential 21 st Century Skills needed to be “College and Career-Ready” Introducing... The Common Core Standards Rigorous concepts will be introduced to develop critical thinkers in grades K-12! The AIMS exam will be replaced with the PARCC exam beginning in Spring 2015

Time: 8:00 – 9:30 Our math program is called Investigations Math. The goal of this program is to develop students who understand math concepts and are efficient and flexible when solving problems. Students must learn their multiplication and division facts this year thru 12s. [Goal = 100 in 5 min.]

At this time, we’re planning our field trip destinations. The cost of these activities this year will range from $25.00-$35.00 per student including transportation. As extracurricular activities, our funding for field trips is extremely limited. Our ability to continue to provide such experiences for students is dependent on donations from our community.
