Summary of 2012 LASPE Membership Survey Results Oct 16, 2012 Survey Committee: Steve Cheung, Serge Baghdikian, Baldev Gill, Nazee Heda, Ryan Kwong, Ben Nathan, Jalal Torabzadeh, and Leila Vlasko. Mentored by Eric Withjack and Sam Sarem.

Is Forum date and time convenient? 4 Many USC students do not know of the LASPE meetings. Several do not know when and where; some suggested Friday, weekend or evening options; two have conflict with work meeting; several have long drive during the weekdays. LASPE 2012 Survey Results

27 people mentioned they are available to present technical talks to share Best Practices and Lessons Learned. 44 people volunteered to be on panels to discuss topics in their line of expertise. How Board of Directors use the results? LASPE 2012 Survey Results11 Nominated and approved new Board Members. (also resulted in new secretary and program co-chair). Forward Meeting notice and Newsletter to Student Chapter presidents, and request them to notify student members. Program co-chairs will use information to invite speakers to attract more attendees. Considering offering cross-generation soft-skills workshop. Committee chairs will contact people when help is needed. ……..

Summary LASPE 2012 Survey Results12 The 2012 Survey was very successful Board of Directors understand the preferences of the members, and will adjust program to attract more members to attend meetings. We now have names of people who are interested to volunteer.
