National Beta Club First meeting November 29, 2011

Introduction — To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership — This club is not all about community service. We will have fun events put together throughout the year to develop leadership and character skills. — Throughout the year we will also provide college info or any other helpful information that we think will be beneficial to your future.

Requirements — All members must complete 10 hours community service per semester. — All members must maintain good grades throughout the year (3.0 GPA) — Members are encouraged to go to events/activites — Please plan to attend all meetings. If you cannot attend it must be approved by the officers..and it better be a good reason…. — Have an enthusiastic and good personality at events..(no one likes an unhappy or mean leader/volunteer). We are a prestigious club and we want to look good for the community. — If anything above is violated..then you may be dismissed from the club.

Membership Fee Please turn in your $15 membership fee to Megan Sun ASAP oppurtunity to be nominated for over $250,000 in National Beta Club college scholarships (for senios only)

Fundraising — We need money We will begin to sell candy next semester We're buying the candy through a company and it will be fairly cheap so we will make a really nice profit...xD We want your opinions on what you think we should sell. Please us your ideas at

Shirts!!! — If you are artistic, creative, we are looking for someone who can design our Beta Club shirts! — Make sure they have the name of the club and our school — The more designs..the more options..or else we get…
