Unit Two—Research Proposal Proposal Solution: Workshop Class Wednesday: March 4, 2015

As a group you analyzed the questions on page 388 of Chapter 15. Reflect about the experience of collaborating with your peers and deconstructing each question. Now, explain how this process will assist you in thinking rhetorically about your individual problem solution and wallowing in the complexity of the each subcategory of proposal. Bellringer

 Student Responses: Review

 Today you will:  Analyze the questions on page 388 and apply them directly to your individual proposal solution.  Think critically about the answers you provide, making sure you are answering each question with answers that delve deeply into the problem, avoiding giving superficial answers—iceberg mentality.  Generate an outline for your proposal solution. Goals

Explain how today’s activity will help you in the selecting process of your sources. Explain the impact that understanding the problem, the significance of the problem, the audience, previous/alternative solutions, and the realistic possibility of your solution will have on the analysis of your sources?
