Plenary Session Istvan Patkai – Cross over of ideas, synergies and linkages between CBR and Mental Health Highlights:  Emphasis on stress and social theory vs. vulnerability  Context and resilience vs. bio-medical diagnosis  The “wounded healer” experience of caregivers  Prepare for supervision and referral  Training at various levels  Train knowledge, attitude and management  Teach empowerment, rights and responsibilities

Plenary Session Suchada Sakornsatian – Learning Materials on Community Mental Health Highlights:  Training modules, leaflets and awareness programs for various levels and stakeholders  In addition to training methods, technology, attitude and management were also emphasized  Special roles of volunteers and monks  Referral issues
