Demonstration Browse Search Read Use!

Browse Books are assigned to up to three major subject categories; click on the arrow to expand the category

Browse Drill down further within each category; click on the category to see information on books within that category

Browse Sort books by title, publisher, date, content type Click on the book cover, table of contents, or title to access the electronic version

Browse The book table of content is available to help navigate through the text The examples link will lead you to supplementary materials found on the CD- ROM of print books

Browse Drill down through the table of contents to access the relevant section

Search The Safari search box is available from every page; it offers drop down “quick picks” to help choose which field to search in

Search Safari also offers predictive / suggested search terms, based on other users’ searches; this feature can be turned off if preferred

Search Advanced search, accessible from every page, simply displays more search fields and choices

Read Choose “view by book” to see a list of relevant books and which categories results appear in; results can be sorted by title, date etc

Read Choose results by popularity (based on Safari users and Amazon reviews) and relevancy (based on keywords) View by section displays the most relevant book sections, so a book may appear more than once in this results display

Use Safari contains many examples of accurate code; users can copy and paste straight into their own programs

Use Print fidelity format is available for many titles, and provides high quality colour display – just like the print version
