8 th to 9 th Grade Planning Timeline  March 2 nd –March 20 th : Students met with school counselors in small groups to discuss diploma options, regents courses, and credit requirements  March 5 th –March 17 th : 8 th grade teachers made course recommendations for all students  March 24 th -March 25 th : Counselors will push into Social Studies classes to assist students in making elective course selections  March 25 th –March 31 st : Counselors will enter course requests into school tool database  April 1 st : Individual course request summary and Pre AP letters will be mailed to parents/guardians for review  April 13 th : Signed Pre AP letters are due back to the middle school counselors to finalize course selections
