What are Bushrangers? During the 1800’s, there were outlaws known as Bushrangers. They were often seen in the bush and small towns. They were especially seen during the gold rush, because gold miners were often robbed by them. Bushrangers often go in small groups so it was easier to attack or rob smaller amount of people. Some bushrangers were heroes to some, but others were known to do crime.

Are there Bushrangers around today? Currently, there are no bushrangers around today because more buildings have covered the populated bush areas and now, bushrangers in towns would be preferred as criminals or terrorists.
Why were some Bushrangers heroes? During the later years, people tell tales about bushrangers, and children would think they were interesting and they would tell the same story when they have become older and the tale would go on for many years.

What did Bushrangers do? Bushrangers terrorized people and stole goods like gold or jewellery from rich people.
