Kinship Support Network Navigator Program (KSNNP)

 Kinship Support Network Navigator Program (KSNNP) is a three-year demonstration project specifically designed to provide information and resources to kinship caregivers across the state of California.  Research- This program also encompasses a research study that will evaluate the needs and strengths of kinship caregivers.  Partnerships- Edgewood Center for Children and Families in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties have successfully established partnerships with EMQ Families First in Contra Costa County and Family Support Services of the Bay Area in Alameda County.

Navigators The Navigators are all current or previous caregivers with a world of knowledge and experience. The Navigators provide referral and information services to callers of the warm line. Navigators are available 10 hours a day, Monday through Friday from 9am until 7pm. There are two bilingual Spanish speaking Navigators. Each program partner (EMQ, FSSBA, Edgewood) has a kinship Navigator on site.

Of the top 10 counties in California, 3 come from Southern California: Tulare, Santa Barbara, Imperial.
