Naughty or Nice? A Christmas Story

The Frontenac World Issues Elves were usually very nice... I love tests!

I love assignments!

But one day they learned about something very naughty...malaria Every 45 seconds a mother loses a child to malaria 50 million pregnant women are exposed to malaria each year, putting mothers and infants at risk of poor health and death Malaria is spread through the bite of an infected mosquito

What naughty mosquitoes! They were spreading malaria...

This made the Elves very sad....

Very, very sad...

But malaria is PREVENTABLE and TREATABLE...and we know how to stop it!

What could the elves do to help the people of Uganda?

Luckily, Ms. G had an idea!!

$7 buys a net $3 buys a treatment

Who wants to help?

So the Elves got busy...

Very busy...

What good little elves!!

What talented little elves...

Santa was very happy!!

And these beads are made from recycled paper!

The World Issues Elves raised over $2100 for Buy-a-Net That’s 300 Ugandan families that can sleep under a net! OR 700 people who can get malarial treatment!

Definitely Nice!!
