History of My Persian Language By: Maryam Khosravani 702 Project # 7

Introduction To study Poetry then, is to study the Iranian mind. Persian literature as such can be argued to have begun in verse 91th century(AD) with the poetry of Rudaki-often known as the father of Persian poetry. Persian poetry can roughly be divided into three broad categories:Epic,Lyric, and Didactic

Persian was the second most important language after Arabic. Most people are trying to learn Persian, but they can't because Persian is a really hard language for someone to learn! It has 32 alphabet...

Persian and Arabic language are having common stuffs, such as some of their alphabets and some of their words! For example in Persian usually some of the words does not have only one meaning it might have about 3-4 meanings!

Which countries speaks the Persian language? Persian is an official language of Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan! But these countries: Uzbekistan,Bahrain,Iraq, Pakistan,Kuwait,United Arab Emirate,Lebanon speak different language but their languages are common to ours!!!

How many people speak Persian worldwide? About 90 Million… 70 Million in Iran and 20 Million Persians all over the world. This figure is consisting of only Persians worldwide. The number is much higher if you also count the people from other Persian speaking countries. Like: Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Pakistan.

Who are the major Persian poets? There are so many Persian poets. The major one's are, Hafez, Saadi, Rudaki, Ferdowsi, Ommar Khayyam, Attar Neishabori, Molavi, and Sohrab Sepehri.

Conclusion My conclusion about my native language which is, Persian is that, Persian is a really popular language and this language has a lot of common stuffs with other languages, such as: Arabic, Afghani, and Tajik! THIS IS HOW WE WRITE THE WORD PERSIAN!
