The Timeline Poster Requires independent and collaborative work Independent YOU are responsible for your own style or styles Collaborative As a team you are creating 1 poster that showcases all the styles together NEATLY.
For Whole Style Period Name of the Period should be predominately displayed LARGE, neat, & stylized Poster size = the number of years this period spanned 1 Decade (10 years) = 5 inches Bottom of the poster should have arrows for each individual style, showing the time it spanned.
Look at Examples They don’t have the arrows on the bottom. That’s new for this year.
For Each Style Name Picture/Pictures of Houses Representing this style Bullet point of features signature to this style Any specific style terms (with definitions) Callout picture of any important features

ASSEMBLE Your Background As a group, pick a color or pattern of scrapbook paper. There must be enough of it that you can tape it together to get the width you need REMINDER 1 Decade (10 years) = 5 inches Check your calculations w/ teacher first! Let the teacher know what color you are using No two time periods should use the same color!
