Space Colony 2025

Purpose Create a plan to build the first colony for 50 people on another celestial body. Plan for that colony to be there INDEFINATELY! Plan for – Food – Water – Shelter – Waste Management – Oxygen Supply – Materials acquisition (too expensive to go back and forth from Earth more than once)

Product Presentation (Sales Pitch) – Explain the environmental circumstances on your celestial body – Pitch your plan to your audience, convince them that your plan is the one they should choose to invest in! – 5-10 minutes in length – All group members contribute equally Visual Aid (must be approved by teacher) – Any visual that will enhance your presentation. – PowerPoint, poster, 3D model, etc. If you choose to do a powerpoint presentation, you can have only 15 words per slide maximum!!

Group Work You all will be scoring your group members based on the Group Work Rubric.
