Chapter Training Kickoff Scope of this training Roles involved in migration of web services –National Training Team –Chapter Training Coordinators (CTC) This training to help CTCs prepare their chapters for go-live on new web services using –Use materials provided by National Training Team –CTCs may customize training to meet Chapter requirements Migration of Chapter websites not covered –Responsibility of Chapter webmaster –Migration on a different schedule –Will be covered by separate National team

Chapter Training Kickoff Roles of the CTC Provide training to Chapter volunteers in use of new web services –Ensure members have ready access to training materials –Provide specialized training for groups such as Admins, DDs, CCs & workshop coordinators Provide local support to Chapter volunteers in use of new web services –National Support team will be in place to help identify & report defects

Chapter Training Kickoff Implementation Release Dates Introduction of new concepts –Ongoing – by SCORE National Leaders March 21 st : –Early testing available for web services, limited integration, no data March 28 th : –Early testing available for integrated web services with sample data March 31 st : – New SCORE National Website with web services available for volunteer testing –Client data available for testing (changes won’t be saved at go-live) April 25 th : – New SCORE National Website online for clients & volunteers –New web services available for all; WebIt discontinued –Client data loaded from WebIt –Volunteer profiles created from WebIt

Chapter Training Kickoff Training Materials Available (for each Phase) 1.SCORE Newsletters & Webinars on new SCORE processes 2.Webinar overview of various functions to be covered by this phase –Gives CTC overview of tasks and processes covered –Presented twice, once am, once pm with Q & A –Recorded for later playback 3.Pre-recorded webcasts detailing major volunteer tasks –Available to all volunteers, directed by CTC –Can not be modified by CTC 4.Scripted PowerPoint presentations for each process –Available to all volunteers, directed by CTC –Can be viewed online or downloaded and distributed –Can be customized by CTC for groups or individuals

Chapter Training Kickoff Training Phases & Schedule Dates when training materials available to CTC –Kicked off by interactive webinars for CTCs –Approximately 2 weeks between phases for CTCs to train Chapter members Pilot Phase (week of 3/14/11) –Constant Contact / Event Management Phase 1 (week of 4/4/11) –Critical volunteer processes, primarily client related Phase 2 (week of 4/18/11) –Administrative & management functions Phase 3 (week of 5/2/11) –Remaining functions
