DAQ MICO Report Online Monitoring: –Status All histograms are now implemented Still not fully online –Only monitoring from data file (slightly offline, means as soon as the run is finished) – Problem with system event management: interference between DATE semaphore system for file synchronization and monitoring software timers used for histograms broadcast –A new software design has been proposed, should be implemented by June = new milestone date
Main Power distribution Milestone 80 % passed –Two racks are not yet fully equipped –All hardware can be (and is) connected though One small integration problem: –Some crate power supplies can’t be removed from the back of the rack => make maintenance uncomfortable We’ll se if we can improve that. Not urgent, not a milestone
Synchronization DAQ/Target The current version works well. –Milestone passed –For the moment, the target system is the driver and the DAQ is the slave –Will need upgrade when the RF system is included. I’ll do that in July Upgrade milestone July
Crate power supplies Can be considered as passed –The VME power supplies are equipped with their power plug –The 2 missing NIM power supplies are on their way to RAL, plus 2 spares
Particle trigger cabling Passed –All cables are at RAL –Waiting for TOF0 and TOF1
Front End Electronics for TOF and EMCAL –No status Change –We have detected some operational problem with the TDC. CAEN is being contacted. This might become critical if the problem is confirmed –Waiting from the delivery from Rome/Milano DAQ and particle trigger distribution –No status Change –Cables finished –Was waiting for the NIM crate power supply –New milestone date: July Full DAQ trigger implementation –Not needed before the Tracker is in the Hall –New milestone date: July
