STATEMENT AND QUESTIONS Objective: identify statement and questions and proofread for correct end marks and capital letters.

Different kinds of sentences have different jobs. A sentence that tells something is a statement. A statement ends with a period(.). A sentence that asks something is a question. A question ends with a question mark (?). A sentence always begins with a capital letter.
