Why is Work Experience Important? Most pupils from St Joseph’s progress to University through UCAS, an important part of the UCAS application is the Personal Statement section, in this section you need to outline skills and experiences which you have gained which relate to the course you have applied for on your UCAS application.

Why is Work experience Important? One of the most important ways to gain skills which can be written about on your personal statement is by completing an appropriate work experience.

Responsibilities Work experience. Year13 pupils have already received Work Experience letters which must be completed, signed and returned before the 19 th of September. Pupils will then receive indemnity letters which must be signed by Mrs G Donnelly (Principal) and their employer and returned to school no later than the 26 th of September
