Surreptitious-(adjective) Stealthy, secret, intended to escape observation; made or accomplished by fraud The soccer player was astounded to see his coach with a surreptitious look on his face because he seemed like he knew his team was going to win the game.

 A delusion marked by a feeling of power, wealth, talent, etc, far in excess of reality.  After winning the spelling bee, Luke had a feeling of megalomania for about two weeks.
