What is “Naishinten”? ☆ ”Naishinten” School record score A sum of school record score(grade) for 9 subjects. Each subject is graded on a 5-point score. (5 is the highest score for each subject. 45 points is a perfect score (5 is the highest score for each subject. 45 points is a perfect score ) 3 rd year grades will be considered mostly. Candidate decisions are based on exam scores and “Naishinten”. So grades during 3rd year are very important.

By when should I make my decision? Please make a decision by October (Whether to continue schooling or to start working.) If you decided to continue schooling, you have to choose one of the paths from below (A~D) before the Parents and Teachers meeting on December. A: Take entrance exams for private schools only. B: Take exams for both private and public schools. C: Take exams for public schools only. D: Take exams for technical / part-time high school.

1. Graduate of Junior High school or who are expected to graduate by March of Living within Aichi Prefecture with guardians. 3. Should possess foreign nationality or Whose parents is Repatriate from China. 4. Student who came or returned to Japan when he/she was in Grade 4 and above. Special examination process for foreign students and repatriate students from China Qualification :

Toyohashi West High School ★ Special examination process for foreign students At Toyohashi West High School’s General curriculum course, foreign students who live with their families in Aichi Prefecture who were placed into a grade higher than grade 4 when they enrolled in elementary school or who were placed into grade 3 or lower at the time of their elementary school enrollment and had extenuating circumstances are eligible to undergo a special examination process prior to the general selection process. * Content of Examination : Japanese, Math, English and Interview. * Students who passed the exam and who accepted to the school can receive special Japanese instruction and learning support for the subject. Please ask the details to your teacher.

Toyohashi Municipal High School There are Daytime and Evening sessions. The school uses a credit system to measure students’ academic progress and in order to advance to the next grade level, you simply need to accumulate enough credits. ( No holdover). The course offerings are wide and varied and small group teaching is implemented. As a result, the student can receive more personalized attention. * Both Daytime and Evening sessions offer 4 hours Lesson in a day and students typically can graduate after 4 years. * There are many foreign students studying at this school.
