TMDL- Program Overview  Clean Water Act (CWA) – polluted waters must be identified through the 303(d)list every two years  EPA – approves (FDEP) or creates their own lists for TMDLs  Administration: Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP)

Example: Lake Jesup Phosphorus TMDL Existing Phosphorus Load 63,000 lbs - Calculated TMDL - 41,000 lbs Reduction Required 22,000 lbs Also need to factor in loads from future growth!
