 Are the organisms found in pond water the same as all over the world? By: 5-414/ Mrs. Forrest PowerPoint By: Kendra H. & Saleena S.

Introduction Our class has been studying pond water samples and have found pond organisms. Our teacher has collected pond specimens and brought it to the classroom the next day so we could identify the organisms and record our observations.

Our Graph Organisms ☼ Leeches ☼ Saucer bug ☼ Water worm ☼ Water penny ☼ Water flea ☼ Insect larvae ☼ Flat worm ☼ Boatman less water ☼ Boatman greater water ☼ Water snipe fly ☼ Algae ☼ Stone fly larvae ☼ phantom midge ☼ Planarian ☼ Mayfly nymph ☼ Aquatic worm ☼ Riffle beetle adult Number of organisms ☼2☼2 ☼1☼1 ☼ 68 ☼ 194 ☼2☼2 ☼ 38 ☼ 12 ☼ 38 ☼2☼2 ☼ 32 ☼2☼2 ☼1☼1 ☼1☼1 ☼ 29 ☼1☼1 ☼2☼2

Procedure First, our teacher got water from the Roy Wilkins Pond. Then we observed the organisms in the water. After, we wrote about one organism we found.

Conclusion Our class thought that the organisms found in the pond will be different from other countries. But we also thought that some organisms might be the same. We found out that the organisms found in other countries were a little of the same things we found in the Roy Wilkins Pond.
