Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco, California, on February 24, Adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs and grew up in Silicon Valley. He spent a lot of time working in the garage workshop of a neighbor who worked at Hewlett-Packard, an electronics manufacturer. At the age of 12, he saw the computer for the first time which made him much impressed to work with computers.

While Jobs has always been an intelligent and innovative thinker, administrators wanted to skip him ahead to high school. At Homestead High School (1971), he was introduced to his future partner, Steve Wozniak.Steve Wozniak In 1972, Jobs attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, for two years. He dropped out after one semester to visit India in1974.

After dropped out of college after six months and spent the next 18 months dropping in on creative classes. IN 1974, JOBS took a position as a video game designer with atari. In 1976, when Jobs was just 21, he and Wozniak started Apple computers. Apple I earned the corporation around $774,000. The Apple II went to market in 1977, with impressive first year sales of $2.7 million. Jobs looked to marketing expert John Scully of Pepsi-Cola to help fill the role of Apple's president.

However, the next several products suffered significant design flaws resulting in recalls and consumer disappointment. In 1984, Apple released the Macintosh,. But Macintosh was still not IBM compatible. Scully believed Jobs was hurting Apple, and executives began to phase him out. In 1985, Jobs resigned as Apple's CEO to begin a new hardware and software company called NeXT, Inc (hardware division)

In 1996 Apple bought NeXT for $429 million. Jobs returned to Apple as an adviser where he was then made chief executive in Job’s ingenious products such as the iMac, effective branding campaigns, and stylish designs caught the attention of consumers once again. In 2001, Apple’s first iPod was launched. Apple's revolutionary products,-iPod, iPhone and iPad, are now seen as dictating the evolution of modern technology.
