We are still excited about our National NAACP Convention Youth ACT-SO competition Gold Medal winner, Olivia Hopkins and our other youth who made us proud, Dustin Sayles, Cedric Shell, and Jadais Young. They were showcased at the Life Membership Prayer Breakfast in late July and will be again in November 6th at our Freedom Fund Banquet. Also we are still elated about the 2nd Place Winner of the SC NAACP Woman of the Year, Dr. Flora J. Winestock. Everyone please bring the signed petitions supporting the Restoration of Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Greenville Branch of the NAACP ACT-SO National Competition * ­­­­­­­­­­­­­ The NAACP will celebrate the 67 th Birthday of Mr. Truman Humbert Saturday, November 22, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church. This fund raising event will benefit 29 local high school students to compete in 2016 National NAACP Convention. All proceeds will provide the airfare, housing and food allowance for the 29 students.
