MANOR FARM Welcome to Manor Farm. My name is Jessie and I’m going to tell you the story.

Manor Farm is in England. Mr. and Mrs. Jones own the farm. They drink too much and treat their animals badly.

There are many animals that live on the farm. They are sad, hungry and badly treated.

Old major is the wisest animal on the farm. He calls all the animals together for a meeting. He wanted to share his vision.

Old major said that he had a dream about a world where animals are free, happy, well-fed and treated with respect.

Three nights later, Old Major dies in his sleep.

Mr. Jones continued to mistreat the animals. They were hungry, but he would not feed them. The animals decided to rebel. The farmers fled! REBEL: TO GO AGAINST AUTHORITY.

All the animals cheered. Then Old Major led the animals in singing a song about how the animals will rebel and overthrow the humans. D O W N W I T H T H E H U M A N S ! HUMANS ARE THE ENEMY! ANIMALS RULE!

Boxer, the kind old horse works hard to build a Windmill.

The animals work together to harvest the food. They are happy though, because they get to eat it themselves.

Snowball then replaces the sign

Napoleon and Snowball help the animals write the seven commandments.

The first commandment is : If it has two legs it is an enemy. But later, the pigs start to walk on two legs.

The second commandment is : If it has 4 legs or wings, it is a comrade. But later, the pigs treat the other animals differently. comrade: a friend

The third commandment is : No animal can wear clothes. But later, pigs start to wear clothes.

The fourth commandment is : No animal can sleep in a bed. But later, the pigs sleep in the farmhouse beds.

The fifth commandment is : No animal shall drink alcohol. But later, the pigs start to drink alcohol.

The sixth commandment is : No animal shall kill another animal. But later, the pigs let Boxer be taken to the glue factory.

The seventh commandment is : All animals are equal. But later, the pigs would not listen to the other animals.

Napoleon and his mean dogs now run the farm, and all the other animals are sad, hungry and badly treated.
