Defining our sector Backpacker, by definition is usually associated with a traveller staying in a particular type of accommodation paid for primarily on a bed basis Youth: the our purposes are travellers to New Zealand aged 15 to 34 Adventure: commercial tour and activity operators with perceived elements of risk and an international visitor focus
